Contrasting colored roofs

The materials with which the shingles for the roof of a house are made are no longer limited to the most traditional and go unnoticed and chosen only for their functionality. New materials allow for myriad styles and colors, and more and more homeowners are using them to create a personal and unique aesthetic.

The dominant trend for a year is to contrast light and dark. If the property has white or light colored walls, black roofs or a dark shade of the same color as the walls (sky blue versus navy blue) are used.

However, this does not mean that you are limited to this contrast. If you are more daring, you can create combinations that are not necessarily contrasting, with more intense or unusual colors.

The trend indicates a search for new combinations, some youthful and crazy, others elegant and sober, passing through the sweet and soft ones in pastel tones. The limit is your personal taste and your courage to experiment.
